Casting Processes
High Pressure Die Casting (HPDC) | Low Pressure and Gravity Casting (LPDC, GDC)
High Pressure Die Casting (HPDC)
- Casting is carried out on die-casting cells equipped with medium and medium-to-large size machines, for prototypes and medium-series production. The process is structurally constrained: whenever the project allows it, we support co-design activities on geometries, wall thicknesses, and component configuration to ensure manufacturability and process stability. We manage different aluminum alloys, including those that are more sensitive to process variables.
- • High Pressure Die Casting (HPDC)
- • 9 die-casting machines (from 1900 Ton up to 3000 Ton)
- • Full Works Compartment with robot and Trimming machines - automatic
- • Control units for thermoregulation of mould, injection control systems
- • Vacuum System – DTC detection
Type of alloy used:
Magsimal 59 – Silafont family – Castaduct family EN AC 46000 – EN AC 46100
Low Pressure Die Casting (LPDC) and GDC
- This technology offers greater design freedom compared to high-pressure die casting and is suitable for large components and complex geometries. We manufacture monolithic parts and configurations that are difficult to achieve without specific expertise, across a wide range of weights and volumes. Post-casting operations are managed internally, ensuring continuity between development and production.
- • Low Pressure Die Casting (LPDC) and GDC
- • 11 gravity casting machines (able to cast from 500 g up to 80 Kg)
- • 4 low pressure casting machines (able to cast from 500 g up to 100 Kg)
- • Full Works Compartment: automatic – semi automatic and manual
Type of alloy used:
EN AC 42100 – EN AC 43100 – EN AC 46400
